Why Trauma-Informed Breathwork Matters

At LIATI, every breathwork session is approached with a deep understanding of trauma physiology, somatic safety, and energetic integrity. We know that breath opens more than the lungs—it opens memory, emotion, and long-held energetic patterns.

When done without proper care, breathwork can dysregulate the system or retraumatize. That’s why our facilitators are trained to create a container where the body, brain, and biofield feel safe enough to release, rewire, and rebuild.

LIATI Breathwork is trauma-informed on three essential levels:

  • Somatic – We work with the body’s tissues, fascia, and breath patterns to restore a ‘felt sense,’safety, and connection from the inside out.

  • Neurological – Our practices recalibrate the autonomic nervous system, helping you move from fight/flight/freeze to presence, empowerment, and flow.

  • Energetic – We respect the soul’s pace. Through subtle energetic tracking and spiritual guidance, we honor what is ready to emerge—no forcing, only allowing.
